That 53% of Americans Have Not Changed Their July 4th Celebration Plans Due to COVID-19
The July 4th holiday, also known as Independence Day, is one of the most popular holidays in the U.S. It is a time when family and friends come together to celebrate with BBQs, picnics, fireworks and patriotic decorations to honor the country’s official anniversary of U.S. independence. But with COVID-19, have these time-honored traditions changed?
The Big Village Insights team conducted a survey to discover how Americans are planning to celebrate this year, how patriotic they are feeling due to recent events, their one favorite thing about the holiday, and more. Interestingly, the survey reveals that a majority haven’t changed their holiday plans because of COVID-19 and patriotism differs greatly by generation.
